The Global Agribusiness Forum second Warm-Up edition will address the topic:

“CHALLENGES OF FOOD SAFETY: TAILOR THE INDICATORS TO FIT TO THE COUNTRY CONTEXTS”, and will be held on December 16th, 2021 - From 9 AM to 11 AM, Brasilia Time Zone.

According to FAO, more than 600 million people fall ill and 420 000 die every year as a result of eating contaminated food. Therefore, food safety is one of the key areas of the 2030 Agenda for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The concern with the theme was further driven by the pandemic Covid-19 and an equivalence of food safety indicators became a major challenge on the international scenario. The objective of this discussion is to identify key actions and strategies to address current and future challenges to food safety with the aim of country experts explaining the existing food safety indicators in the context of their national situations and what are the challenges for international trade to guarantee food safety in a global scale.

We hope you can join us and connect with the most renowned specialists in the Global Agribusiness Community.
